The company Lobitoil S.A. is a privately owned family business that 

has been active in the engine oil and lubrication field since it was 

established in 1968. 

It was founded by Kyriakos Mezes who as a leader in the field of au- tomotive lubricants established 

the use of a previously unknown lubricant in Greece, the multi- 

grade, which was later generally accepted by the majority of 

both Greek and multinational lubricant firms. 

The development of the com- pany throughout the years resulted in a steady growth and 

the expansion of its product range, fulfilling the requirements of all vehicle engine makers and the industry in general
